The District Medical Office and the Kerala State AIDS Control Society jointly organised various competitions to create awareness among students on HIV and AIDS. Volunteers of the NSS units, Sreekrishna College, Guruvayur, participated in the marathon (Red Run - 5 km) and flash mob competitions held in Thrissur for college students (in the age group of 17-25 years) ahead of the International Youth Day to be observed on August 12, 2024.

The marathon, "Red Run" was flagged off at 6.30am on 07th August, 2024 at Government College Road and ended at the Government Engineering College campus, for a distance of 5km. Volunteers, Fasna, Ridha Fathima. A.A, Safna Sarin. N.V, Abhinaya. K and Nishnutha TS of NSS units of Sreerishna College, participated. Nishnutha TS achieved the Third place in this competition.
