Three-Day National Seminar on “Vedic Culture and Temple Art"

The Guruvayur Devaswom, in association with The Institute for Vedic and Cultural Studies, The Institute for Mural Painting, and The IKS Centre, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur, will organise a Three-Day National Seminar on “Vedic Culture and Temple Art” from 27th to 29th October 2025 at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur.
The seminar will bring together eminent scholars, researchers, and artists from across the country to discuss the profound interconnections between Vedic culture and temple art traditions. The sessions will focus on the philosophical, aesthetic, and spiritual dimensions of temple art and its significance in preserving India’s cultural heritage.
The inaugural session will be graced by distinguished dignitaries and experts in Vedic studies and traditional art forms. Over the three days, the event will feature scholarly paper presentations, thematic discussions, and interactive sessions, offering a platform for enriching academic exchange. Exhibitions and live demonstrations of mural art will further enhance the seminar experience, showcasing the visual and artistic richness of Kerala’s temple traditions.
