Best Practices - Sreekrishna

Sreekrishna College is dedicated to implementing best practices that aim to foster positive attitudes and empathy among both students and staff towards their fellow beings and the environment. These best practices are carefully thought-out activities that form part of a long-term plan, with the goal of producing the desired outcomes. The institution places the utmost priority on embracing and upholding these practices in its ongoing efforts to create a positive and empathetic learning and working environment for all.

Annapoorna: This program aims to address the issue of hunger and malnutrition among homeless people in Kandanassery Panchayath and Guruvayur Municipality in Thrissur District, Kerala. Our NSS volunteers collect lunch packets prepared by faculty members and students from all departments every Wednesday and distribute them to those in need, especially homeless individuals. The program has been running successfully and has distributed 1299 food packets to the less fortunate in the community.

Feel n’ heal
It is important to instil a sense of belonging and compassion in students towards their fellow beings and the environment. Under the umbrella of "Feel n’heal," the college organizes various events and activities with this broad perspective in mind. The college is closely associated with a special school called Chaithanya for autistic children. Our students are encouraged to adopt eco-friendly living habits, and campus-based organic farming is promoted among students.
