The Centre for Atmospheric and Climate Research is a specialized laboratory dedicated to advancing research in climate science. It operates under the Department of Physics and the Research Centre. Established in 2017, the centre has had two PhD candidates complete their programs, while five others are pursuing their degrees in atmospheric sciences. The primary research areas at the centre include the study of extreme climate events, variations in trace air pollutants, long-term changes in particulate matter, thunderstorm dynamics, and boundary layer dynamics.
