He serves as a Research Guide under the University of Calicut at the Thunchan Parambu Research Centre, Tirur. Dr. Midhun specializes in Malayalam Grammar, Dravidian Linguistics, and Onomastics, with four scholars currently pursuing research under his guidance in the field of linguistics. His academic contributions and research interests make him a vital part of the department and a significant influence in the study of linguistics.
