In order to promote a harmonious relationship among students, the college strictly prohibits ragging. An Anti-ragging Cell is established in the college, and its vigilant committee works to prevent ragging on campus and to implement effective anti-ragging measures in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court of India and the University Grants Commission. The cell's goal is to create an environment free from ragging by instilling democratic values, tolerance, empathy, compassion, and sensitivity in students so that they become responsible citizens. The regulations aim to prohibit, prevent, and eliminate the practice of ragging, including any conduct by students that may tease, treat, or handle fresher or other students with rudeness, or engage in undisciplined activities that cause annoyance, hardship, or psychological harm, or induce fear or apprehension in any fresher or other student. The regulations also prohibit asking any student to do anything that would cause them shame, torment, or embarrassment, whether or not there is an intent to derive sadistic pleasure or to display power, authority, or superiority over any fresher or other student. These regulations apply to all higher education institutions in the country and are intended to promote the healthy physical and psychological development of all students. The cell aims to create a disciplined atmosphere by sending a clear message that no act of ragging will be tolerated, and any such act will not go unnoticed or unpunished.
