The Minority Cell of the College functions with the purpose of empowering the Minority Communities in the College. Our College caters to the educational and cultural needs of the Minority Communities along with the students coming from varied social backgrounds.  The Cell helps the students belonging to Christian, Muslim and other religious minority groups for their academic development as well as in their co curricular activities.

Objectives

• Provide equal opportunities for the education of students from minority communities.
• Create awareness among minority students regarding various scholarship programmes of State Government and Central Government.
• Facilitate financial support from government agencies and other sources for students from minority communities.
• Follow up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid by the Government of India and University Grants Commission for the upliftment of students from Minority Communities.
• Encourage student participation in career orientation programmes that empower and equip them with the necessary life skills to choose career options.
• Provide prompt counselling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any event on the campus.
• Ensure provisions for a sociable environment where all students feel safe and secure
