Guidelines
The General Library's regular hours are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Upon request, the library may extend its hours for research scholars and other students. The library is closed on Sundays.
General Guidelines
- Users must obtain library membership initially.
- Upon entering the library, users are required to show their ID card on a digital scanner.
- Users can search for documents through the OPAC and open access system physically.
- Undergraduate (UG) students can borrow 2 books, postgraduate (PG) students and non-teaching staff can borrow 3 books, research scholars can borrow 4 books, and teaching staff can borrow 5 books from the library.
- Books are provided for a 14-day borrowing period.
- A one-time renewal process is allowed.
- After 14 days, a fine of Rs. 1 per day will be collected for overdue books.
- Cases of lost books may be referred to as per Government rules.
- Reference collection materials will not be available for borrowing.
- Overnight reading of reference collection materials may be permitted on special request.
- Periodicals will not be available for borrowing.
- Access to the digital library may require an email ID.
- Users are not allowed to bring their own books to the library.
- The library should be kept calm and quiet.
