On March 19, 2024, a one-day training program was organized for the fourth semester B.Sc. Biochemistry students at the Dietary Department of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur. The program aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the role of clinical nutrition and dietetics in healthcare. Throughout the day, students engaged in hands-on learning, gaining insights into meal planning for patients with various medical conditions, understanding the nutritional needs of different demographics, and observing how the dietary department collaborates with other healthcare professionals to promote patient recovery. This immersive experience was an invaluable opportunity for the students to bridge their theoretical knowledge of biochemistry with its real-world application in patient care, emphasizing the vital role nutrition plays in overall health and treatment outcomes
