National Science Day was celebrated on February 28th at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur, to honor Sir C.V. Raman's discovery of the Raman Effect. Organized by the Science Forum, the event aimed to foster scientific temper among students. An exhibition showcased hands-on experiments, with the Department of Biochemistry demonstrating chromatographic techniques, milk adulteration detection, and BMI calculations for local 9th standard students. The event also featured lectures by Dr. Vaisakhan Thampi D.S and Mr. Shihabudeen, along with an intercollegiate seminar competition where Biochemistry students presented on "vaccination." This celebration inspired logical thinking and a passion for science among participants.
