An induction programme for the UG students of the first year was held on 22 September 2022, at 2PM, in the Physics library hall. The welcome note
was delivered by Dr. Nishanth T, Assistant Professor of Physics. Principal Dr. Harinarayanan addressed the students, elaborating on the opportunities
facilitated by the Dept for the students, excellence of the faculty, rules and regulations to be followed by the students, college timing, and the
significance of learning effective communication in English. In his talk, he focused mainly on the achievements of Sree Krisna College Guruvayur. Dr. Rajesh.K.R, Assistant Professor of Physics, spoke on college facilities. He added that the students should make best use of the avenues provided by the college and contribute to the growth of the institution.Dr. Geetha K (Head of the Dept. of Physics) made a presentation of the department, cells, clubs and the general nature of the activities held at the dept for the sake of the students. Dr. Vijoy PS, Assistant Professor of Physics, furnished the vote of thanks. He also shared the concerns of the parents who send their children to a college campus, in the hope that they would emerge successful by the end of the course.
