The Department organized a Lecture Demonstration and Performance of Kathakali  - ‘Kiratham’ on 20.02.2024,  at Mini Auditorioum, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur. Programme was started at 10.00AM. The welcome speech was done by Dr. P.S. Vijoy, Principal, Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur. An abstract of the story was elaborated by by Dr. Lakshm Sankar, HOD and Assistant Professor of Sanskrit.  A total of 216 (Students and faculty members) participants benefitted with the programme.

Kalamandalam Chinosh Balan as Arjunan, Kalamandalam Kashinathan as Kattalan, Kalamandalam Praveen as Kattalastree, RLV Harishankar as Shiva, Hrudul Krishna as Parvathy, Kottakkal Vengeri Narayanan and Vineesh for Music, Kalamandalam Sreehari for Chenda, Kalamandalam Rahul Nambeeshan for madhdhhalam, Kalanilayam Prasanth for Chutti, were the performers,  Rangabhoosha Irinjalakkuda arranged Aniyara.
