The Department conducted a National Seminar in collaboration with IGNCA, on the topic 'Gitagovindam:Text Tradition and Performance'. The Seminar was inaugurated by Dr. K. Rajasekharan, Regional Director, IGNCA , Thrissur (R C) Dr. Sadanam Harikumar, Directior, Gandhi Seva Sadanam, Peroor, delivered the Keynote Address. Renowned SopanaSangeetam artist Sri. Ambalappuzha Vijayakumar delivered a Lecture Demonstration of Sopanasangeetam, Sri SreeKumar (Edakka) accompanied. Sopanalasyam, Mohiniyattam performance accompanied by Sopanasangeetam by Smt. Anupama Suresh and Sri Neelamperur Suresh Kumar ( Music) was also conducted.
