The Department organised A seminar on ‘Glimpses from Narayaneeya’ - as part of ASHTAADASHI - Outreach Program of Central Sanskrit University.

In the seminar  Prof. P. C. MuraliMadhavan delivered the Keynote address on the topic ‘Svartha or Parartha_:The Debates on Bhakti-- the Main Sentiment in Narayaneeya of Melpputtur Narayana Bhatta . Prof Saritha Maheswaran (Professor, Department of Sanskrit Literature, Govt. Sanskrit College Tripunithura) was the Chief Guest.   The renowned poet , writer and Aksharasloka Achaya Sri. Ariannoor Unnikrishnan , who has won the NK Desam award in 2024, was honoured in the Seminar . MA Sanskrit rank winners of 2024 were also be felicitated at the function.
