Sasthrapadam is an annual three-day workshop organized by the Kerala State Higher Secondary Education Department in partnership with Samagra Shiksha Kerala, aimed at enriching the scientific knowledge of selected 11th standard students. Hosted by Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur, the program includes interactive learning sessions and hands-on experiments, emphasizing practical skills over traditional classroom learning.

In 2018, the workshop featured engaging demonstrations by the Departments of Biochemistry and Chemistry, where students participated in various experimental techniques such as chromatography to explore the separation of biomolecules.
