Internship in Medical laboratory techniques
Programme Overview
This course is designed to introduce students to basic medical laboratory practices through hands-on training. Over 60 hours, students will learn essential techniques used in clinical laboratories, with a focus on safety, and proper handling of samples. The course helps students to develop practical skills required for routine blood examinations and microscopic analysis. By the end of the course, learners will be familiar with common laboratory procedures such as blood collection, preparation of serum and plasma, cell counting, blood grouping, and basic hematological tests like bleeding time and clotting time. This course provides a strong foundation for further study in medical laboratory settings.
