Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur, has achieved a prestigious recognition by winning First Place in the District for the 'Pachathuruth' Award, instituted by the Haritha Keralam Mission as part of the state’s environmental restoration activities to combat climate change.

The College received this honour from the Hon’ble Chief Minister at a function held on September 16, 2025, at the Tagore Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram.

The programme focuses on the conservation of indigenous plant species, biodiversity protection, and creating a model green campus.
