WORLD FOOD DAY 2022

The P.G. and Research Department of Botany has observed World Food Day 2022 on 21st of October, 2022 with the FAO Theme- “Leave No One Behind”. Two sessions were planned to observe the day, an invited talk and a food fest. The invited talk in connection with World Food Day celebrations was held forth by Sri. Suresh Kumar K.A., Assistant Professor and HoD, Department of Botany, Govt. College Chittur. The topic of discussion was ‘Healthy Life for a Wealthy Earth’. Second session was Food Fest “Thaalum Thalirum”- Cibum festum arranged and organised by the staff and students of Department of Botany. The food fest was opened by Sri. Manoj Chandran, Health Inspector of Kandanassery Kudumbaarogya Kendram to the staff and students of the college.  Healthy and indigenous dishes of Kerala were presented in the food fest.
